Any Cool Silverlight Design?

July 8th, 2008 | Wahyudi

Maybe it is not fair to compare Flash with Silverlight from the point of view of how each technology is being spread. What I mean by that is that Flash has been around much longer than Silverlight. The Flash adoption by User Interface designers is huge, while I think Silverlight at this time still a […]

The Waiting Is Over

January 5th, 2008 | Wahyudi

Finally I got my Mac Book Pro last friday and I loved it. I wasn’t a hard decision which computer I wanted to get - after I sold my previous mac computer - particularly after Apple build its computer with Intel chip, and you can run Microsoft Windows on it. Yes Microsoft Windows, but why? […]

R.I.P Netscape Navigator

January 2nd, 2008 | Wahyudi

Well maybe not a suprising story, but when I was reading the post about it on Netscape Blog that they finally stop the support starting this year, it is official now that Netscape Navigator will rest in peace. Netscape has special place in my history as a web developer, not only because Netscape Navigator was the pioneer […]

Capello: Another big Mistake

December 14th, 2007 | Wahyudi

It is official that Fabio Capello is now the new England football team manager (coach). When some names were mentioned to be candidates for this position, I was never think that he will be the one that FA would pick. In my opinion the team need someone that knows the players and the league very […]

Essential WPF

November 26th, 2007 | Wahyudi

For the next five day I’ll be attending the Essential Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) training provided by Develop Menthor in Woburn, MA. Today we talked about the architecture, XAML, and Layout. We also saw some examples and demos how you can implement certain things very quick, less code, and efficiently. Well that is for now, […]

It Wasn’t a Nightmare

November 22nd, 2007 | Wahyudi

Yeah, I woke up this morning and then realized that England didn’t qualify for the Euro 2008. The latest news brought at least a tiny good news that McClaren reign is over. After I read some other sad articles, I’m agree with the decission of sacking McClaren. First he hasn’t been able to form eleven […]

Shame on You !!!!!!!!

November 21st, 2007 | Wahyudi

It happened again for the second time in my life as a hardcore England Soccer team fan: They are too weak and stupid to qualify to a big tournament, this time Euro 2008. It is sad, well they deserve this, but still sad. This always make me want to cry since I was a little […]

Social Enterprise

November 6th, 2007 | Wahyudi

A nice roundup about Social Enterprise. I personally think that the culture of the company and the characters of each individual play an important role of the success of any social enterprise technology. The Enterprise 2.0 technology such as blog, wiki, social networking has established it self among individuals or startups in a very short time […]

A .Net Guy

October 24th, 2007 | Wahyudi

I have to say that I’m 100% agree with this guy. I also came from the classic way of doing dynamic web application before I converted my self to a ASP .net developer. I soon as I got in touch with .net framework I saw the great productivity difference compared to the old way of doing dynamic web development. But before you start using .net efficiently you need to rethink the way a web application should be developed. One of the main pillar of that rethink is the use of object oriented pattern and methodology to architect your web application.

Catch Up

October 6th, 2007 | Wahyudi

It’s been a while since my last post. Bussy and I had other things to do, that is the short explanation, shorter would be I just didn’t take time for writing. In general it’s been a year with many interesting events. My parents were here. Finally even after the US Embassy in Jakarta refused my […]
