This is another proof of how incapable our leader in Indonesia. Our President just gave a statement saying that the flood in Jakarta which has caused more than 50 deaths and more than 300.000 people homeless is not a national catastrophe. The reason he said that is because the Jakarta local government (Pemda DKI) stated that they still can handle the flood. I think the president belongs to the few people who cannot recognize how bad the Pemda DKI in managing the city. We all knew that many things concerning our living environment in Jakarta is not managed correctly, such as infrastructure, city planning (malls everywhere), waste management, etc. So now the president can just lay back and relax as if nothing happened. It looks like everyone in the government is now trying to limit his own personal shame.
