I’m in the process of closing my time at Siemens Corp. this week. It is a kind of mandatory for everyone specially if you are a developer to make a documentation of what you have developed. So my decission to use a WIKI for documenting my work was pretty clear. The reason is i believe that a WIKI can do more than a Microsoft Word document. It is a better colaboration tool than a static Microsoft Word document. You also don’t have to pass around per email to other people if they need it. I also think that WIKI is a better colaboration tool than the one where you only can upload or download your documentation online. So this is a good start for the department. To visit the wiki page use this link (copy the address if it does not work).
